CGCIO Alumni Workshop

The 2.5 day program provides valuable training that builds on the skills you learned in the CGCIO program. The theme for this event is “The Changing Landscape of the CIO.” Sessions will focus on how changes in technical and leadership skills, emerging legal issues, and organizational landscapes at all levels of government are impacting government CIOs. More specifically, participants will learn how to lead in turbulent and changing environments; how to navigate the technology-based legal issues facing governments today; what implications exist due to increased concerns about security and privacy, coupled with the consumerization and commoditization of technology services; and how strong CIO leadership and management skills help successfully meet the challenges of those shifting landscapes.
