Nancy Kiplinger joined the School of Government in 2006. She consults on instructional design and adult learning to help faculty develop instruction for training programs. Prior to that, Kiplinger worked on a grant from the Governor's Crime Commission to improve training in North Carolina's domestic and juvenile courts. Kiplinger has consulted in instructional design for workplace learning and helped organizations develop and implement blended e-learning approaches. She has held positions with IntraHealth International, Inc., SAS Inc., and the School of Nursing at UNC-Chapel Hill, among others. Kiplinger’s experiences have allowed her to provide instructional design consultation to projects in the United States and around the world. She has taught in secondary school and in community college programs for adults in the workplace. She has given workshops and presentations about designing effective learning experiences, distance learning, and blended learning for national and international audiences. Kiplinger earned a Master of Education degree in instructional design from UNC-Chapel Hill.
