Faith Thompson joined the School of Government in April as assistant dean for development. She has worked in public service for 22 years, most recently as assistant to the city manager in Fayetteville, NC. Thompson has extensive experience in convening and collaboration with civic, neighborhood, clerical and business organizations and in cultivating strong internal and external relationships to benefit North Carolina citizens. Prior to her work in local government, Thompson served for five years in the US Army. She earned an MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
