Brad Volk joined the School of Government in 2005. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years as assistant dean for administrative services at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing. His other work experience includes 10 years in academic administration at the University of Virginia and seven years in finance and human resources management in private industry. His responsibilities include managing the School’s finances and human resources and overseeing the facilities and instructional support for the faculty. He also serves as the treasurer for the School of Government Foundation. Volk earned a BS from the University of Virginia and an MBA from James Madison University.
