This page provides descriptions of the School of Government’s current openings for faculty (categorized as EPA Faculty) and professional staff (categorized as EPA Non-Faculty). All EPA positions are exempt from both the State Personnel Act of North Carolina and the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. The two major groups of EPA employees are EPA Faculty and EPA Non-Faculty. EPA Faculty Positions may be tenure-track or fixed-term positions. EPA-Non Faculty Positions may be time-limited or at-will appointments. There are three major types of EPA Non-Faculty Positions: Instructional, Research, Senior Academic and Administrative Officers (SAAO)
