Introduction to Planning Practice in North Carolina

This course provides an overview of planning in North Carolina. Participants will learn about legal aspects of local government boards, territorial jurisdiction, zoning, subdivision, comprehensive planning, and tools for plan implementation.

Designed for staff new to the planning profession or new to North Carolina (priority is given to members of the NC Chapter of the American Planning Association)

Prerequisites

There are no prerequsites however priority will be given to applicants who are NCAPA members at the time of application.
