This course uses lectures, group discussions, and a major case study to teach participants about zoning procedures, zoning of particular activities, legal duties of the zoning administrator, permitting and enforcement, public records, site inspections, and emerging issues in zoning. The course is composed of two sessions spaced approximately one month apart.
Zoning officials
4 days (Session I - May 4-7, 2010) and 3 days (Session II - May 18-20, 2010)
To take the course and exam, an applicant must either have completed the Introduction to Zoning course and had two years of experience as a zoning official or had five years of experience as a zoning official
A certification exam will be given at the end of the course
Course participants who cancel their registration on or before April 20, 2010, will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before April 27, 2010, will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after April 27, 2010. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
