The James C. Drennan Fund for Judicial Education

The School of Government provides high-quality, diligently nonpartisan education for judges, magistrates, clerks of court, district attorneys, public defenders, and other court officials across North Carolina. The Drennan endowment fund supports these specialized education programs aimed at continuing to improve North Carolina's judicial processes.

The endowment was initiated by friends and colleagues in honor of Jim Drennan, a long-time faculty member and director of the School's North Carolina Judicial College, an advanced training program created in 2007.
