SUMMER LAW CLERKS

The School offers up to six clerkships each summer that introduce current law students to government at the state and local levels and to many of the organizations and public officials with whom the School regularly works. Clerks research and write on current legal topics in collaboration with faculty members and make an oral presentation on their work.

Annual underwriting or endowment of individual clerks or the program as a whole is sought to ensure continued, reliable funding for these important training opportunities.  For information on giving to the summer law clerk program, please contact Ann Simpson at 919-966-9780 or simpson@sog.unc.edu.
