The School of Government
depends on contributions from generous individuals,
private organizations, and foundations to support the
work of its talented faculty and staff members. Private
contributions in the following areas have significantly
improved the quality of educational services provided
by the School.
- Audiovisual equipment - Thanks
to the generous contributions of countless individuals,
businesses, and organizations, many of the classrooms
in the Knapp-Sanders Building have been equipped with
state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
- Bookstore - Private
funds have helped the School provide clients with
a new bookstore and seating area.
- Wireless access - Private
funds have been used by the School to install wireless
Internet access "hotspots" in the Knapp-Sanders Building's
main lobby, library, and the atrium of the North Carolina
Local Government Wing.
