Guardianship Proceedings for Appointed Counsel

This program will address the central features of guardianship proceedings under Chapter 35A of the General Statutes. The 2011 conference provided a detailed overview of guardianship, types of guardianships, and the role and responsibilities of counsel, as well as medical assessments of incompetency and the intersection between an aging population and guardianship proceedings.  For information about other indigent defense education courses, visit our Indigent Defense Education site.

Cancellation policy

Course participants who cancel their registration on or before January 10, 2013 will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before January 17, 2013 will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after January 17, 2013. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
