Summer Conference
This conference provides continuing judicial education in legal and other areas of interest to District Court judges. Topics include updates in domestic law, criminal law, and juvenile law, as well as all other legal and administrative topics of interest to District Court judges.
District Court Judges
13 CJE hours
The conference of Chief District Court Judges will meet at 3:00 p.m. on June 18. The main session for all District Court Judges will begin at 8:30a.m. on June 19.
We will have sessions on June 19 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. We will be in session from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on June 20. Our final day, June 21, will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.

Holiday Inn Resort, Wrightsville Beach
Rooms are reserved at the Holiday Inn Resort, Monday, June 18 through Wednesday, June 20. A few rooms are also reserved for Sunday, June 17 for chief judges who need to travel that day to make the meeting on the 18th. The group rate is $199.00 per night, single or double occupancy. There is a $10.00 extra charge for each additional person in the room. Please call 1.877.330.5050 for reservations. After this date, guests will be accommodated on a space available basis.
