Parent Attorney Conference
August 15, 2013
The Parent Attorney Conference provides training for attorneys who represent parents in abuse, neglect, dependency, and termination of parental rights proceedings. The August 2012 conference focused on the representation of non-removal parents and included sessions on constitutional protections and responsibilities; the legal definition—or definitions—of fatherhood; working with out-of-state and incarcerated fathers; and unique ethical issues involving non-removal parents. More details on the contents of the 2013 program will be available at a later date.
