Every year after the November elections, the Local Elected Leaders Academy offers a one day LeaderShop for veteran elected municipal and county officials. This workshop is offered in multiple locations across the state.
As an elected official, you are often called upon to speak to groups, conduct public hearings, or address the media. This interactive and engaging workshop can help you be a confident, dignified, and effective speaker.

A note to veteran municipal elected officials:
Veteran municipal elected officials have the option to attend a two day combination of Essentials of Municipal Government and this LeaderShop on public speaking. Those attending the combination 2 day program will receive 18 points in the Local Elected Leaders Academy.
