2011 Criminal Law "Lunchinar" Series, Part IV: Challenging Forensic Science Evidence (Webinar On-Demand)

Description
“Challenging Forensic Science Evidence” provides an overview of recent concerns about forensic science evidence in North Carolina criminal cases—and the steps taken in response to these concerns—as well as strategies that defenders may employ in discovery practice and cross-examination to safeguard against miscarriages of justice. The speakers also discuss the resources being developed in North Carolina for defense counsel, including a database of forensic science experts and training programs on forensics. “Challenging Forensic Science Evidence” was presented in April 2011 as the fourth installment of our four-part 2011 Criminal Law “Lunchinar” Series.
