Profile
David Lawrence retired from full-time work at the School of Government in 2009 after a distinguished 41-year career. While no longer active with School of Government teaching and advising, Lawrence continues to be affiliated with the School through his research and writing on local government law, particularly city-county consolidation, incorporation, open meetings, and interlocal agreements. Lawrence earned a BA from Princeton University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
