Website Migration to a WCMS

Project Goal: Create a School of Government website that separates author and content development from site design through the use of a content management tool.

The School’s web content should remain relevant and current, and content managers should be able to react promptly to the information needs of our clients and to control the process of publishing data and information. This content management system will address the School's business needs by separating design, content, and programming. In addition to allowing designers, editors, and developers to work simultaneously toward a shared goal, this separation provides centrally managed consistency and allows content to be reused in a variety of formats and applications. In their roles, the designer, editor, and developer can focus on their respective areas of expertise with minimal or no cross-training in the other areas.
