Reference Manuals
Most of the manuals below were developed by the School of Government's Indigent Defense Education group as a resource for public defenders and appointed counsel in the indicated areas of practice. All of the manuals, with the exception of Child Support Enforcement and Abuse, Neglect, Dependency, and Termination of Parental Rights, are part of the School of Government's Indigent Defense Manual Series, which is made possible by funding from the Office of Indigent Defense Services. These manuals may also serve as a reference on the law for other court system actors. Questions or suggestions should be directed to the School of Government, care of the School of Government author listed for the particular manual.
