Evaluation and Measurement

Current Work

The Evaluation and Measurement Working Group consists of David Ammons, Maureen Berner, Bill Rivenbark, and Dale Roenigk. Together they provide instruction in this field through several recurring stand-alone workshops, intermittent workshops at the request of clients, recurring and non-recurring sessions on evaluation and measurement in various courses and conferences, and a series of graduate courses in the School’s Master of Public Administration program. The School’s major ongoing project in performance measurement continues to be the North Carolina Benchmarking Project, directed by Dale Roenigk. In addition, faculty members have initiated other benchmarking and evaluation projects and regularly field questions from clients. Members of the working group have been published extensively on these subjects.
