Judicial Authority and Administration

This site includes articles and links related to judicial authority, administration, and structure in North Carolina. It is intended primarily for judges but may be useful to lawyers as well. The site provides information about topics that do not fit neatly into standard categories of criminal and civil law and procedure, though there certainly is overlap. The articles collected here have more to do with a judge's administrative duties, or the authority to control the courtroom and manage cases, or the structure of the court system.

Any questions, comments or suggestions about the site should be directed to Michael Crowell at crowellm@sog.unc.edu.
