Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

As project director for the Environmental Finance Center, Anna Patterson works to help communities and water utilities improve their environmental health and financial resilience.

She joined the School of Government in 2022. Previously, Patterson worked in environmental planning for the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, municipal planning for the City of Danville, VA, and project administration and outreach for the Polymer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Patterson earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from UNC-Greensboro.
