Christy Raulli joined the School of Government in 2013, where she manages operations for the Development Finance Initiative (DFI), a program that assists local governments with attracting private investment for transformative redevelopment projects. She brings more than 15 years of community and economic development experience to the School, including having co-founded an affordable housing organization and having managed a NC Department of Commerce program that leveraged federal funding to attract private investment in small businesses across NC. Raulli is currently advising local governments on approximately $100 million of redevelopment projects and leads a team of real estate, community, and economic development professionals and graduate students. She graduated with honors from SUNY Fredonia, holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from UNC, is a licensed real estate broker, and is the vice-chair of the Town of Hillsborough's Planning Board.
