Jessica Dorrance joined the staff of the ncIMPACT Initiative in August 2021. As research director, she will lead research and evaluation efforts with a specific focus on Carolina Across 100, a five-year initiative launched by UNC Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz and led by ncIMPACT’s director, Anita Brown-Graham. The initiative is a promise from the university to give back to North Carolina’s 100 counties by helping to provide University resources in alleviating community challenges, particularly in the wake of COVID-19. Prior to joining ncIMPACT, Jess worked at the UNC Center for Community Capital for more than a decade conducting research and evaluation on projects related to financial capability, asset building, affordable housing, small-dollar lending, and student debt. Jessica is a proud graduate of the MPA program at UNC-Chapel Hill.
