The Leading for Results course for Cohort 1 of LGFCU Fellows has been canceled, with all participants invited to participate in Cohort 2 or a session in 2019.

The Effective Supervisory Management Program course to be held Sept. 17-21 has been canceled.

The Development Finance Toolbox course to be held Sept. 18-19 has been canceled.

The first week of Municipal and County Administration to be held Sept. 18-21 has been postponed.

Back To School: CLE @ SOG

Please join us at the UNC School of Government for a one-day CLE program taught by SOG faculty and distinguished guest speakers.  The day will include North Carolina civil and criminal case law and legislation updates, a United States Supreme Court review/preview, and practical topics on multiple tracks.  We will also hear a special address by North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein and by Anna Stein, Esq., who will speak about the opioid epidemic in North Carolina.  Lunch will be provided on site.  This course will offer 6.25 hours of CLE credit, including one hour of ethics credit and one optional hour of substance abuse credit.  Private and public sector attorneys welcome—this is a CLE course for everyone.  We hope to see you in Chapel Hill!

    Two courtesy blocks of hotel sleeping rooms have been arranged for November 15 and 16 to accommodate attendees of this program who may wish to arrive a day early and/or stay a day later. Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.

The reservation deadline for the group rate at Hyatt Place is October 19.  After this date guests will be accommodated on a space-available basis and may not be able to obtain the group rate.
