Now that the North Carolina General Assembly has adjourned the 2015 legislative session, the School of Government is preparing for our annual local government legislative update webinar series. Faculty members have been monitoring proposed legislation and are preparing updates in their areas of expertise. This webinar series will provide a high-level overview of topics that are of interest to local government officials in a wide range of areas. The programs will be offered live on October 27 and October 29 and will be available on demand shortly thereafter. During the live programs, time will be reserved for each presenter to respond to questions submitted by participants.

The full agenda for both programs is still being developed, but topics will include the following:
