North Carolina counties are required to provide public health services in their communities but they are allowed to choose how they deliver those services. Will they operate a single county health department? Join forces with another county to create a district health department? Establish a public health authority? Consolidate public health and social services into a single agency? The School of Government and several partners have been involved in a research project that is designed to provide more information about how these different service delivery models function in North Carolina. During this webinar, School of Government faculty members will offer a brief overview of the research, discuss some of the key findings in detail, and answer questions from participants.
