State Economic Development Plan Informational Webinar
The State of North Carolina will publish a new strategic plan for economic development early next year that will guide policymakers and practitioners in their work to bring more economic prosperity to the state. Gathering input from a wide group of stakeholders is critical to the plan’s ultimate success.
On behalf of the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the UNC School of Government and the UNC Department of City and Regional Planning, will host a webinar to introduce the engagement process and to discuss a series of upcoming regional feedback sessions associated with the development of this latest iteration of the state’s comprehensive strategic economic development plan.
This webinar will provide an introduction to key state-level economic data that will serve as the research foundation for the strategic plan, an overview of the economic development planning process, and an introduction to what individuals can expect at the upcoming regional convenings.
Registration for this webinar is free. If you are unable to participate in the live webinar, you will have the option to watch the On Demand recorded version afterward. A link will automatically be sent to you.
