With the growing popularity of AirBnB’s and other short term rentals, more and more North Carolina local governments are questioning whether to regulate these properties and wondering how best to ensure collection of their occupancy taxes. In this on-demand webinar, the School of Government’s Chris McLaughlin and Rebecca Badgett are joined by guest speakers to discuss the local regulation of short term rentals and explain the nuts and bolts of the occupancy tax process.
