Adverse Weather Alert for Sept. 17-21

The Leading for Results course for Cohort 1 of LGFCU Fellows has been canceled, with all participants invited to participate in Cohort 2 or a session in 2019.

The Effective Supervisory Management Program course to be held Sept. 17-21 has been canceled.

The Development Finance Toolbox course to be held Sept. 18-19 has been canceled.

The first week of Municipal and County Administration to be held Sept. 18-21 has been postponed.

Aly Chen joined the School of Government in 2017. She provides research support to faculty members in various areas of civil law. Previously, she spent four years as deputy counsel at the North Carolina State Bar investigating grievances against attorneys. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Justice Sarah E. Parker at the North Carolina Supreme Court, and has also served as a staff attorney at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Chen earned a BA in environmental biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a JD, with honors, from UNC-Chapel Hill.
