New Felony Defender Training

This program is for attorneys who are new to handling felony cases. Topics will include discovery and investigation, suppression motions, indictments, jury instructions, preserving the record, and other skills necessary to handle felony cases (other than trial skills, which are covered in the Defender Trial School). Attendees

Defenders and private attorneys who perform a significant amount of appointed work.  (This program is geared toward attorneys who are new to representing defendants charged with felonies in superior court.)

Cancellation
Policy

Course participants who cancel their registration on or before January 28, 2010, will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before February 04, 2010, will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after February 04, 2010. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
