guardianship training for appointed counsel

This training is a nuts-and-bolts program on representing respondents in guardianship proceedings. Topics will include the roles and responsibilities of appointed counsel; practice and procedure in guardianship proceedings; determining incompetency and appointing a guardian; and medical assessments of incompetency. The program will use a case problem to illustrate the different aspects of these proceedings.
