Nurse Executives' Legal Conference
This conference addresses legal issues related to providing public health services and administering public health programs. Topics of discussion at previous conferences have included birth certificates for Medicaid recipients, Title X proof of income, NC’s Infant Safe Surrender Law, HIPAA enforcement, and immigrants and the health department. This course is offered in conjunction with the Office of Continuing Education at the NC Institute for Public Health, UNC School of Public Health.
