Conference)
Sponsored by the School of Government at UNC Chapel Hill and the Carolinas Association of Governmental Purchasing, this school and vendor show includes an impressive array of workshops that have been selected to provide the best professional development opportunities. The workshops include sessions on recycled products, purchasing when times are tough and money is tight, insurance requirements, specification writing, technology, and many other issues that public procurement professionals face each day. In addition, the conference is an excellent opportunity to network with your peers and colleagues in the profession. There are workshops designed for the experienced purchasing professional as well as those who are new to the government purchasing profession.
