Local Government Debt Financing Options under ARRTA (Webinar)

This webinar will provide an overview of the various debt financing mechanisms in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 (ARRTA). A review of the financing options available to local governments under state law will be provided, including a description of how the ARRTA financing provisions may be used to access different markets for local government debt.  The following specific topics will be covered:

  • Build America Bonds
  • New Clean Renewable Energy Bonds
  • Qualified Energy Conservation Bonds
  • Qualified School Construction Bonds
  • Qualified Zone Academy Bonds
  • Recovery Zone Economic Development Bonds
  • Recovery Zone Facility Bonds 

The webinar will include a panel discussion among the following people:
