IIMC Clerks' Certification Institute

The Certification Institute provides a way for persons who are interested in being designated as Certified Municipal Clerks by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) to fulfill the educational component of the CMC requirements. Attendees

Open to city and county clerks and regional agency secretaries and their deputies who meet certain eligibility criteria established by IIMC; deputy clerks applying for certification need a letter from the clerk in their jurisdiction verifying certain facts about their duties

15 days of instruction in three sessions of the one-year course

Certification

Completion of "Certification Institute" fulfills education requirement for designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk; a passing score on written examination is required for successful completion of Certification Institute

Cancellation
Policy

Course participants who cancel their registration on or before February 09, 2009, will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before February 16, 2009, will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after February 16, 2009. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
