Introduction to Zoning in North Carolina

This basic course covers the nature of the zoning ordinance and the legal and administrative issues involved in adopting, enforcing, and amending the ordinance. The course will acquaint students with the legal framework of zoning and will enable students to appreciate and develop regulatory standards and procedures for solving community planning problems. In addition, students will develop administrative skills useful in issuing permits, handling zoning amendments, and providing customer service.

Cancellation
Policy

Course participants who cancel their registration on or before December 28, 2009, will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before January 04, 2010, will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after January 04, 2010. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
