Local Government Law

Designed for elected officials, managers, and department heads, this workshop helps participants think in an organized way about ethical issues that face them in public service. It also offers practical approaches for resolving real-life ethical dilemmas, provides an explanation of some of the laws that regulate the conduct of public officials, and addresses the potential effects of the State Government Ethics and Lobbying Reform Act on local governments and local officials.
