This half-day workshop serves as a practical program on parliamentary procedure. The first part of the workshop will cover types of meetings, the agenda, motions, action by the board, voting, debate, ratification of actions, quorums, closed sessions, and public hearings. The second part will address common practices and legal standards for comment at public meetings and how to manage comment, even in contentious public meetings.
