US Supreme Court Seminar for District Court and Superior Court Judges

This seminar offers a small group of  district court and superior court judges the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to visit the institution at the fore of the nation’s judicial system:  the United States Supreme Court.  Participants will hear oral arguments at the court, and some will have an opportunity to be sworn in to the Supreme Court. The group will also visit the Capitol and the National Archives to view the Charters of Freedom. Participants are responsible for arranging for and covering the cost of their travel to and from Washington, D.C. in addition to a $500 registration fee.  The registration fee, supplemented by funds from the North Carolina Judicial College, will cover expenses for hotel parking, transportation around DC, a breakfast at the US Supreme Court and two group dinners for seminar participants.
