Knapp Library

The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

This page provides descriptions of the School of Government’s current openings for temporary positions (EHRA and SHRA). All SHRA positions are subject to the State Human Resources Act of North Carolina. SHRA temporary positions are subject to the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. EHRA positions are exempt from both the State Human Resources Act of North Carolina and the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

From the PeopleAdmin homepage, select the All Temporary Positions option located at the right of the page.
This selection will take you to the search page. Using the Division/School drop down option, select School of Government and Search. This will take you to all open positions in the School of Government currently available for this employee type.
Click the position you are applying for, select View Details, then click Apply to this Job to initiate the application process.
