New Felony Defender Training
February 13-15, 2013
This program is for attorneys who are new to handling felony cases. Topics will include discovery and investigation, suppression motions, indictments, jury instructions, lab reports, preserving the record, and other skills—excluding trial skills, which are covered in our annual Defender Trial School—necessary to handle felony cases. Defenders and private attorneys who perform a significant amount of appointed work. (This program is geared toward attorneys who are new to representing defendants charged with felonies in superior court.)
This program is comprised of plenary sessions and intensive small group workshops. Due to the interactive nature of the program, participants are expected to attend all sessions.
