Basic Economic Development

This annual course provides intensive instruction on the fundamentals of economic development practice. It is a four-day introductory training course designed for economic development professionals employed by public, civic, or private development agencies and individuals new to the field. It is also appropriate for more experienced professionals seeking to update their skills. The course is a comprehensive educational experience that integrates theoretical and practical perspectives on economic development and provides participants with the background needed to organize, plan, and implement economic development activities and programs.

Course participants who cancel their registration on or before July 16, 2012 will receive a full refund. Those who cancel on or before July 23, 2012 will receive a full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refund will be made for cancellations made after July 23, 2012. All cancellations must be submitted in writing, as outlined in the School's cancellation policy.
