Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

Jamal L. Stinson is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he developed a passion for technology at an early age, building citizens band (CB radios) and transistor radios. From there, he graduated from Riverside University High School, a college preparatory high school. As a graduate of The Grambling State University, he studied many subjects from Computer Information Systems, Education, and Marketing. To date, he has worked with Durham Public Schools, North Carolina Central University and now with University of North Carolina within the IT divisions.
