Tom Lundy has been active professionally throughout his career. He is past-president of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the National Association of County Administrators and the North Carolina City and County Management Association and is currently chair of the Board of Directors of the ICMA Retirement Corporation. He is an ICMA credentialed manager and has served the profession on many committees locally, nationally and internationally throughout his career.
Lundy has been the Catawba County Manager since March 1979. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emory & Henry College, double majoring in Political Science and Business and Economics. He holds an MPA from UNC-Chapel Hill; and is a graduate of the Senior Executives Program from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
