LGFCU Fellows Alumni Workshop

The Alumni workshop will be held at the Sheraton in Chapel Hill, October 26-27, with a reception on the 26 at the Story Venue on Franklin Street. We will have a chance to talk briefly about the emerging issue of AI and how it might impact local governments, as well as work with national communication trainers to gain new skills to add to our leadership communication tool kit. The event will start at 1 p.m. on the 26 and wrap up at 1 p.m. on the 27. A shuttle will be available to and from the Sheraton and reception (for those staying at the Sheraton, the Courtyard, or elsewhere and want to leave your car at the Sheraton). For those staying at the Hampton Inn, it is a short walk from the hotel to the reception.

This event is tuition-free, thanks to the generous support of the Civic Federal Credit Union. Please note that if you preregister and do not attend, we still cover program costs, such as catering. Be sure to let us know in advance if you are not able to attend so we can make adjustments to catering if possible. There will be a prize for the cohort with the highest attendance percentage at the event.
