Selected Proceedings Involving Minors for Clerks of Superior Court

This two-day North Carolina Judicial College course is intended for clerks and assistant clerks of superior court and will cover selected proceedings and issues involving minors that come before the clerk such as legitimation, minor guardianship, appointment of a guardian ad litem, the Indian Child Welfare Act, and decedent's estates involving minor heirs. It will focus on the clerk's judicial role with respect to these proceedings.

 

This course is offered through the North Carolina Judicial College.
