Alex Phipps joined the School of Government in 2022 as a legal research associate. He coordinates legal research support to assist School of Government faculty and staff with legal issues and questions. Prior to joining the school, Phipps worked as an attorney for several Texas state agencies, and before that worked as an attorney in the District of Columbia.Â
Phipps earned his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the state bars of North Carolina and Texas.
