Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.

Miguel Jackson is the strategic outreach director for the School of Government's Environmental Finance Center. He joined the School in 2023.

Previously, Jackson worked for 15 years as the marketing manager & art director at UNC Student Stores. He also worked as a communications manager at the University's Finance and Operations Service Center of Excellence and as the assistant director for marketing and communications at UNC Digital and Lifelong Learning.

Jackson earned a bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from UNC-Wilmington.
