Empathy and Ethics - Building Strong Client Relationships
This session explores the professional and ethical duties regarding communication, respect, and termination of representation for a lawyer representing a respondent in a juvenile matter. Topics include empathy versus sympathy, active listening, client-centered discussions, and strategies for working with clients who are experiencing challenges of their own.
