If a state receives funding for elder abuse programs through the federal Older Americans Act, it must submit a state plan that provides that information gathered in investigations of abuse reports will be kept confidential. Disclosure is permitted:
With the permission of all parties to the complaint,
To law enforcement agencies, and
To public protective services agencies.
